I was out running some errands, Ryan was at work, and Harvey and Kyle were at home. Kyle heard the doorbell ring, but being downstairs, he didn't hear anyone go to answer it. He came up the stairs to see who was here, and looked through our glass front door just in time to see a man running down the walkway away from the door. He also heard the garage door opening . . . and thought that somehow the guy had gained access to the house through the garage!
Heading quickly to the inside door that leads to the garage, the only weapon he could find on the way to protect all of us was this:
"This" is a broken toilet paper holder. Not sure just what kind of
damage this would do, but I guess it might hurt someone, somehow . . . . ?
Preparing to attack, he yanked open the door to the garage, and found . . . Harvey and the appliance man, chatting as the fridge was loaded onto a hand truck to be carted away.
Here's what really happened:
Harvey's office looks out on the front walkway, and he saw the Schmidt's Appliance representative approaching the door. Knowing the guy was here to pick up a rented refrigerator, he ran to our inside garage door, so he could open the outside automatic door for him. Makes sense, right? At least to someone who could see it all happening.
So, slightly embarrassed, and to cover up his misconception of the situation, Kyle joined the conversation casually with, "So how did this fridge get so dented up anyway?"
Hahahaha, Kyle! Thanks for the comic relief!
Lovies!
