My New Toy

The other day I received a phone call from a company soliciting some business -- to power wash ANYTHING around my house that needed it.

Those of you who know me well, know that power washing is one of my favorite things to do. Why, you may ask? Hmmmm, I'm not sure. I think it's because when you power wash something, the result is instantaneous. Instant gratification.

Anyway. I kind of chuckled at the lady on the phone, and told her it was MY favorite thing to do, and why would I hire someone to do something that I wanted to do? She actually laughed, then told me to have a nice day.

Forward to Valentine's Day. Guess what I got from my sweetheart? YEAH! A power washer. And today we brought it out to use for the first time. This is our entry walkway before being power washed:

This is the difference between dirty and clean. Pretty amazing!
