Captive Charlie

Today when her mom brought her over, Charlotte must have just had a shower. She smelled SO good and had these adorable curls over her ears.

This granddaughter doesn't hold still for very long (much different than Chloe!), and so today when she was sitting on the pottie, I took the opportunity to take a few pictures, knowing she wouldn't be able to get away quickly. So if you're "pottie adverse", here's your warning!

Now there's a blackmail picture for a teenager!

We had quite a nice chat for about 15 minutes (about books next to the toilet, the pictures on the wall, the toilet paper, she could hear Bumpa in the other room . . . ), but she never "accomplished" anything. She waited about 10 minutes later, then promptly filled her diaper hiding behind some furniture! Well, I guess pottie training usually takes longer than just one day.

Oh, and I have to add this picture below in Auntie Katie's behalf. Katie is expecting a girl, and can't wait to be able to fluff and frill the little dear. When Chloe and Charlotte were born, she even sent some fun headbands, but the girls would never keep them on. In this picture, I was able to catch Charlie during the 10 seconds that she actually had a headband on. So, this one's for you, Kate!

  1. Awesome that in the moment she actually looks like her hair was styled she's gladly sitting on the toilet...priceless.

It's about darn time she put a headband on her head...even if it was only for about 10 seconds. Baby steps...baby steps.

The goal is to have my little Annie come out with bows in her hair ;)
